The Physical Therapist
Angela L. Forsyth, PT, DPT
Director, REBUILD
BioRx, LLC

As Director of the REBUILD program at BioRx, I am looking forward to providing support to Kim during her training program.  Physical therapy is a very important part of the medical care team for those with hemophilia and bleeding disorders, and it’s critical that all PT intervention is completely customized, keeping the hemophilia in mind.  As part of the team, I am available to connect with Kim’s trainer and local physical therapists to provide education, support and collaboration to keep her safely moving.  I know that receiving specialty training about hemophilia isn’t part of any standard physical therapy education program, so it’s important to reach out to those community therapists and trainers that are working with Kim to help support them, minimize the risks and maximize the benefits with Kim’s programs. It’s an exciting opportunity for me to do what I love, collaborate with my physical therapy colleagues and people living with hemophilia.
